Cartoon Inspired (c1): Jessica Rabbit

Cycle 1:  Cartoon Inspired

Jessica Rabbit

For my first cycle, I've chosen a theme I can have fun with. Cartoons! Taking their infamous makeup looks from paper to real life is going to be a challenge, but a good one. I'm starting with one of the most famous female cartoon faces (and bodies) of all time...

Often imitated, never REALLY duplicated- Jessica is the queen of cartoon femme fatale. Who doesn't admire her a little?

Remember, dolls- don't limit fantasy makeup to Halloween. Everything is, for sake of argument, "wearable." It all depends on HOW you do it. And that's what I did with Jessica's high-brow, dramatic look.

An Everyday Homage to Jessica

Natural (yet overexposed) Lighting

Natural Lighting (Also, overexposed)

All of the above pictures not labeled "natural lighting" were taken under the "Daylight" setting of my makeup mirror.

The shadows I used most often for this look were from my Urban Decay Vice Palette. But I also used shades from permanent palettes Smokey Eye (Too Faced), Return of Sexy (Too Faced.) The eyeliners I used were Too Faced Perfect Black and Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliner in Tetra. I am not wearing false eyelashes. I went easy on the red lipstick, but it is mostly MAC Russian Red Lipglass.

I will post the full product list for this look later. All in all, this was a SUPER fun look to make an everyday version of- purples and pinks look particularly good against my skin/eye color. I look forward to SUNDAY'S SECOND INSTALLMENT of my Cartoon Inspired Cycle. I hope you all love it as much as I do.

Don't forget to check back on Sunday for Cartoon Round 2! And please vote for my next cycle theme in the lower right corner of the screen, beneath the search bar.

thanks loves!

xoxo
